Over 9 weeks, still no refund for item I cancelled

I ordered a camera and paid on PayPal, however I then realised the camera wouldn’t be suitable for my needs, so I contacted them to cancel the order. By the time they got back to me it had been shipped (fair enough) so they said to decline the delivery and I would be refunded. We would have declined it anyway as the box was open and you could see the camera box inside- I want my camera coming in secure packaging and handled with care! So, I’m thinking canon are a reputable company- I can rely on them to just sort the refund out- wrong, hubby realised nearly 2 month later that they have not refunded us- the tracking shows that we declined the delivery, so being that this is nothing to do with us, we should now get our money back right? No! We was told that they needed to raise it with the delivery people which would take 3-10 working days and then they will “advise us”! I don’t want advice!! (Although I shall be going else where for advise very shortly as I’m paying interest to PayPal while I’m waiting months for it to be paid back- and they are getting interest from having my money in their bank!)It’s been 10 working days- (giving weekends and bank holidays off- of course no response! No refund! It’s been over 9 weeks now! Really don’t know how a company has got so bad

Liars and ZERO service who will garuntee to fail you, charge you and not provide a product or refund despite never delivering ...

Pretty much what all these reviews say. Still all "under investigation" where UPS did not deliver a product. Hours emailing and calling both companies, UPS closed the case stating it was never delivered and lost. As a customer left still 3 months on with no product, no refund and no resolution but a condescending lie of under investigation wait for 3-10 days (a repeated line they have used for the past 3 months might I add)! They also avade us by having "no complaints phone number or department".

Canon TS5150

This printer is the worst printer I have ever had. I have had this for just over a year and it keeps throwing up a support code 5100 and it doesn't have any jams or cartridge problems. Have to keep resetting it and occasionally it will print something out only to throw up the same code next time I use it. Manual says to seek Canon service and seeing that it cost me £39.00 it will cost more than its worth to get them to look at it. Avoid this printer!!

Bad customer service team, great complaints procedure.

I bought a printer nearly a year ago. I ran out of ink and purchased new ink from the Canon site (using a link a customer advisor provided me). The wrong ink arrived and did not work with the printer. I didn't realise it was the wrong ink and the advisor was the one that forwarded the link to me so they brought my laptop to their repair facility and checked out the printer was OK. They then offered an exchange so I could get the correct ink. This review would have been worthy of five stars (rather than four) if it hadn't taken me over 6 months to speak to an advisor and get someone to give me a call back. I will give them the benefit of the doubt because it was during the beginning of COVID. There were some advisors that were extremely rude such as Maria from Canon's Services and Support Team. However, Canon Complaints Team really rectified the situation.

Disappointing Canon

Camera ordered on 10th March. But it’s stuck in the Netherlands. It has the delayed due to Brexit status.I have it in writing that an error in their order process was made. That this is why it’s now stuck. The only information provided has been when I’ve prompted it. But when asking them to cancel and provide me with a refund for this order this is basically the approach. Received yesterday:“ Please note that we have sent a request to our delivery partner to return your order back to our warehouse, and if processed successfully, a full refund will be issued to you. Please bear in mind that a delivery might still be attempted if the request is not processed successfully. In this case, you can refuse the parcel upon delivery or contact us again to arrange a return for refund.”But neither Canon or UPS can give me an indication of when they may or I may receive it. So who knows what will happen and when. As said it’s stuck in the Netherlands, that much I can see. I believe my consumer rights mean I should get a refund on 9th April regardless of where the package is if I still haven’t got it. Is the above good customer service? I think not. Will I buy direct from the Canon UK Store again? I think not. I think Canon need to take a leaf out of Amazon’s book. They also perhaps need to change their automated emails. I received an email asking how they did on Wednesday. Canon are a big brand so I’ve been really quite shocked and disappointed. So I’m waiting now. But I’m not holding my breath. Ive lost faith.

Avoid Canon

Ordered a camera direct from canon on jan 4th 2021. 3-5 working days delivery it very clearly stated before I clicked purchase (needed for a birthday present on the 15th). It got to the 13th of jan with no sign of delivery being fobbed off with all talks of brexit and other excuses. I reluctantly ordered another of the same camera off Amazon and received the next day! I have spoken to customer service three times and have been told each time to refuse delivery of the camera and I will receive a refund. Ups have attempted deliver the camera 4 times since the last call! Fcuk you canon give me my money you thieves! P.s the canon I purchased off of Amazon is siht hot. Don’t order direct from canon. Sounds daft but don’t do it. P.ps it’s 4th March. 2 months no camera no refund!

Avoid - Don't Buy From Canon UK Store

Like so many others, I made the huge mistake of going direct in mid-Feb and I am like so many others still waiting. Like others, you don't get a reply to any contact's, having to call their contact center. They blame it all on Brexit but still call it Canon UK and continue to state that 'orders will be delivered within 7-10 working days' - really!!!I am now regretting ever purchasing a Canon Pro10 printer. Shocking absence of customer service. Buy from anyone but them!!

Day 41 of waiting

Day 41 of waiting. New camera and lens still stuck with UPS. No word from Canon other than a generic apology email sent to a mass email list. Still no apparent urgency to resolve the issue. No goodwill gestures. Nothing.

Worst company ever

Worst company ever. Thought you'd be okay ordering direct from Canon but how wrong. Despite it being dispatched and arriving in this country pretty quick it is now stuck on some conveyor belt going round the UPS warehouse. Have had three emails with different delivery dates, none of which materialised and had several emails from UPS stating delays due to Brexit. I'm not sure how many warehouse scans it needs but we are up to at least 10. I guess the £1700 camera ordered for my husbands anniversary present tomorrow is unlikely to arrive....maybe by next years one?? Judging by all the reviews on Canon and on their social media they just don't care. They have your money so why are they worried. Will be sending them a statutory demand in the next couple of days to try and get my money back as it seems I won't be getting the goods.

"Don't do it" has to be our advice

We all make mistakes in our lives. One of ours was to buy an MG3650 printer. Our advice has to be "don't do it", difficult to set up, guzzles expensive inks and having treated it to new XL cartridges it now refuses to align the heads correctly. The Canon guide on the web is useless and we have spent a good half day going through the various folks on Youtube trying to help but to no avail. Even clearing out all the excess grease didn't work. Sadly we have to conclude life is too short, our time too valuable and this Canon kit just useless. Won't be buying anything else from them and will be reverting to a nice sensible HP! We would give them minus "n" if it was possible. The Canon has cost us a shed load in money, time and stress.
